Carving Pumpkins

We had a fun day Carving pumpkins on Sunday with the baby for the 1st time. Noah picked a Pooh face for hers (which I cut out for her) She had fun cleaning out the pumpkins and flinging seeds all over my livingroom floor....thank goodness for Tile Floors. She didn't like the feel of the pumpkin guts though.... she made some classic faces, unfortunately not for the camera though. Danielle and Noah love their pumpkins.

Here we go again!

Well my husband is being stop lossed and he will be returning to Iraq in January. We are all dealing with it as best as we can. My 10 year is having the most trouble with it. It brakes my heart that she has to go through this. What a hard situation to handle/process for a 10 year old. This will be his 3rd tour in Iraq and I am (unfortunately) have gotten used to not having my husband around but it seems to never get any easier on the children.

I think the worst part of him being sent over there is everyone has an opinion and thank that Military wifes want to hear it. We don't we also don't like to be reminded about the danger our husbands are in or be reminded that we may become widdows.

I hope this time will be easier on us all.

Chicken Pox

My 1 year baby has the chicken pox, poor thing and she is such a trooper! The doctor decided to give her the vaccine anyway "just in case" and she didn't cry when they gave her the shot. Later that afternoon, she pulled the bandaid off and handed it to me like it was no thing.... She is tougher than me. I am amazed by children every day! I was definitely blessed by the lord to be their mother.
